Trajectory

Fine Arts Satellite Gallery

August 20 - October 12, 2013
Fine Arts Satellite Gallery, Joe Mack Wilson Building

Trajectory followed the varied paths of six recent Kennesaw State University graduates from the former Visual Arts Department, now the School of Art and Design. By definition, a trajectory is the path that a moving object follows through space and time. Inspired by this notion, the exhibition surveyed the trajectory of these recent graduates’ artistic developments along with the unique career paths that each has followed upon graduation. Each artist has charted their own course, whether it is continuing their studies in graduate school, working as a creative professional, or becoming a full-time artist. Though these six alumni have chosen varied paths, the speed of their success is a testament to the dedicated and exceptional education they have received at Kennesaw State University.

Trajectory was intended to not only highlight these artist’s accomplishments but to also serve as inspiration to the current students of the School of Art and Design and the University. The Zuckerman Museum of Art would like to thank the Student Activities and Budget Advisory Committee, whose generous support has allowed the museum to produce exhibitions and programing for the future graduates of Kennesaw State University and our community.
