Originally from Upstate New York, I attended The State University of New York at Plattsburgh, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Printmaking and Sculpture. While in Plattsburgh, I participated in residencies at Franconia Sculpture Park, Sea Side Sculpture Park and was employed by the Plattsburgh State University Art Museum as a Museum Assistant and Conservation Coordinator.From 2003-2006, I was employed by The University of Georgia as a Gallery Assistant and Instructor while pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture. During my time at the University of Georgia I participated in the First Annual Artist Symposium in Navidad, Chile, completed commissioned works located in Athens, Greece, and worked on various projects at the Lamar Dodd School of Art Galleries. After graduating from the University of Georgia I was employed at the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse, New York as the Curatorial Assistant and Preparator, the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, Florida as the Exhibit Technician, and held teaching/visiting artist positions at Cazenovia College, Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute and Palm Beach State College.
In 2011, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia working as the Production Manager at Chisel 3D, a design and sculpture company, followed by my appointment as Interim Director and subsequently Director of the Bernard A. Zuckerman Museum of Art.
